Our Story
From a shared studio in Montreal to creators on six continents. Here's how it started.
The Mad Space began in 2024 in a shared Montreal studio, where a group of designers kept saying the same thing: 'I wish my designs were actually out there, on street corners, in coffeeshops, on people.' Prints existed. Portfolios existed. But a platform that treated creators fairly, with real commission and no inventory headaches? That didn't.
So we built it. Started with a handful of creators who believed in the idea, a print-on-demand workflow, and one rule that never changed: the person who makes the art deserves the fairest cut. We're growing fast now, and the best moment is still when a designer sees someone wearing their work for the first time.
